This Privacy Policy explains how DeiraJobs (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use deirajobs.com, a job board for the United Arab Emirates. We process personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and, for visitors located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are

2. The data we collect
- Account: email address, username, the account type you choose (job seeker or employer) and your password (stored in hashed form, never in plain text).
- Job applications: full name, email, phone number, nationality, gender, education level, years of experience, the CV or document you upload, and the job you apply for.
- CV builder and profile: the information you enter in your CV (experience, education, skills, photo if you add one).
- Job Guarantee programme: the information you provide when you register for the programme, including your CV, and the job proposals and interviews we arrange for you.
- Employers: company name, contact email and phone, website, and the job listings you publish.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe. It is sent to our team’s mailbox.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider and by the security, advertising and content services listed below.
3. Why we use your data
- To create and manage your account and let you log in.
- To send your application to the employer of the job you apply for, and to show you the status of your applications.
- To run the Job Guarantee programme: review your profile and propose matching jobs and interviews.
- To let employers publish jobs and manage the applications they receive.
- To protect the site against spam, fraud and abuse.
- To send the newsletter you subscribed to.
- To show advertising that keeps the job board free (see section 7).
We use your data on the basis of your consent (for example when you apply, register for a programme or subscribe), to perform the service you request, to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
4. Who receives your data
- Employers: when you apply for a job, the employer who published it receives your application and CV. When you join the Job Guarantee programme, employers we propose you to receive your profile.
- Our team: to review Job Guarantee registrations and moderate job listings.
- Service providers who process data on our behalf: our web hosting provider (GoDaddy), which also measures site traffic; Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection); Google AdSense (advertising); Cloudflare (cdnjs), which serves some icon fonts; and SerpApi, from which the logos of some companies are loaded. When your browser loads these files, the provider receives your IP address.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data. Some job listings on DeiraJobs come from other job sites; if you apply on an external site, that site’s own privacy policy applies.
5. International transfers
Our hosting and some of our service providers (such as Google) may store or process data outside the United Arab Emirates. When this happens, we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards for personal data.
6. How long we keep your data
- Account and CV: as long as your account exists. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Applications: for as long as the recruitment needs them, and no longer than 12 months after the job listing closes.
- Job Guarantee programme: as long as you take part, and no longer than 12 months after you leave it.
- Newsletter: until you ask us to stop sending it (write to the address below).
7. Cookies and advertising
Necessary cookies keep you logged in, remember your session and protect our forms. They cannot be switched off, because the site does not work without them.
- WordPress and WooCommerce session cookies: login and account session.
- Hosting statistics: our hosting provider (GoDaddy) adds a script that measures visits to the site and may set its own cookies.
- Google reCAPTCHA: protects the login and registration forms against bots. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
Advertising: some pages show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for their consent first, through Google’s consent message, and can change their choice at any time. Website fonts are served from our own server: we do not send your IP address to Google Fonts.
8. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, or to withdraw your consent. Write to contact@deirajobs.com; we answer within 30 days. You can also correct most of your data yourself in your account. If you believe your rights are not respected, you may complain to the UAE Data Office or, in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restrict access to CVs and application files to the people allowed to see them, and protect our forms against automated abuse. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will inform you and the authorities of a data breach when the law requires it.
10. Children
DeiraJobs is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; important changes will be announced on the site.
